Co-Chair, Developer & Founder
I have completed aspects of my professional training in Ireland, United Kingdom (Maudsley Hospital), Canada (Memorial University of Newfoundland, McMaster University), United States of America (Mayo Clinic, Harvard University) and Mexico (National Institute of Psychiatry). I am now a Psychiatrist and Assistant Clinical Professor from Canada with an interest in psychosocial rehabilitation, administrative psychiatry, legal psychiatry, clinical teaching and research. My primary affiliations are with Grand River Hospital and McMaster University. I have also been a Psychiatric Consultant to the Canada Border Services Agency as well as other community and private agencies.
My desire to achieve global human equality combined with my interest in mental health has provided me an ability to build a strong foundation for my life-long pledge towards bringing an end to stigma associated with mental health issues around the world while providing a vehement voice to those suffering from mental illness.
